A removable plate with artificial teeth that fills gaps where some natural teeth are missing. Flexible dentures use a softer, more comfortable base.
What to expect
Moulds are taken over a few visits, the fit and bite are checked, and the denture is adjusted until it is comfortable.
Aftercare
It takes a little time to get used to. Take it out to clean it daily and at night unless advised otherwise, and come back if it rubs or feels loose.
Complete dentures

A full set of removable artificial teeth for an upper jaw, a lower jaw or both, when all the natural teeth are missing.
When it is needed
When all teeth in a jaw are missing or need to be removed.
What to expect
Several visits for moulds, bite records and a try-in, so the shape, colour and fit can be checked before the final dentures are made.
Aftercare
Eating and speaking feel different at first and improve with practice. Clean daily, remove at night if advised, and come for adjustments when needed.
